David is an accomplished lawyer with over 25 years experience in the public and private sector. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, UK, an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration.

He has extensive Africa experience in transportation, PPPs, infrastructure development, procurement, legislative reform, corporate and finance, and oil and gas. He is rated #1 by Chambers & Partners Global for overseas experts in Ghana who say that clients appreciate his “terrifically focused, hands-on approach and brilliant business sense”. He is also recognized as one of the world’s leading lawyers in procurement by Who’s Who Legal.

Notably, David was the lead international procurement and concessions lawyer on the team that formulated the Public Procurement and Concessions Act for Liberia in 2005 and is currently leading a team of consultants to develop regulations and a step by step Manual for the implementation of the Liberia Act. He advised the Government of Ghana on the PPP and procurement process for the selection of a concessionaire for Ghana’s Railways Corporation. He worked as the lead legal specialist on Ghana’s $547m Millennium Challenge Account. David worked with Winston & Strawn LLP on the World Bank sponsored Legal & Claims Specialist Project for the Government of Ghana which involved the review of the procurement procedures of over 400 road executed by the Government of Ghana. David also led the development of National PPP Guidelines for Ghana and was engaged by the World Bank to prepare the PPP chapter of Ghana’s Local Government Finance Law. He advised the Ministry of Finance on the procurement and PPP regime for the development of the Accra – Kumasi Highway project. He has also provided legal/transaction advice to the private sector in the design of procurement/PPP structure for the extraction of underground water resources and the development of a multi-purpose convention centre through a Design Build Operate and Transfer arrangement for the metropolitan city of Tema. He has currently been engaged by the Department of Urban Roads to draft the law for the establishment of the department’s proposed Centre for Urban Transportation in Ghana. He leads the AB & David team on the design of a PPP Resource Centre for Ghana.

David is a Past President of Rotary. He serves on the Council of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI). Some of the boards he serves on includes I-fund, Goldkey Properties, Devtraco, Grofin Ghana and Gold Coast Securities.

Ms. Boaten is invaluable on multidisciplinary projects and has been recognized as one of the world’s leading lawyers in procurement by Who’s Who Legal.

Isabel’s experience is in the areas of Public sector/Regulatory Reform, PPPs, Public, corporate law and Procurement. She worked as the legal analyst for the development of National Policy Guidelines for PPPs in Ghana and on procurement and concessioning reform for the Government of Liberia including the preparation of the Procurement & Concessions Act of Liberia and regulations. She has worked as a legal advisor on the restructring of the power sector(ECG, VRA, GRIDCO) in Ghana. She has also worked on the administration of procurement processes for the selection of managers for the privatization of bus terminals in Ghana and on a TIPCEE/USAID PPP project for the operation and management of a fruit terminal at the Tema Port. She has worked extensively with a lot of international NGO’s including VSO, PATH, Freedom From Hunger, Grameen Foundation and World Learning and co-ordinates the TRACE activities of the firm. She also worked on the AB & David legal team on Ghana’s $547m millennium challenge account and as legal support on the preparation of the PPP chapter of the proposed Local Government Finance Law. She is part of the legal team advising on the design of a PPP Resource Centre for Ghana.

Isabel is representing the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) on the National Intellectual Property Committee. She is an alumnus of Common Purpose. Isabel is currently writing her thesis on "Regulating The Regulator, the Governance of Regulatory Authorities in Ghana" towards her MPA Programme.

Anna is the Partner at the firm’s Kumasi office of AB & David.  Her experience has been in Commercial Litigation, Trial Advisory Services, Property and Real Estate, Immigration, Family Law, Corporate and Commercial Law and Recoveries.  An astute and methodical advocate, she represents several major banks in Ghana and International clients in Debt Management and Collection. Anna has represented several of our international clients on Commerce and Investment and has worked on several projects including the provision of advisory services to a commercial farming project in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.

Anna is pursuing a Masters in Business Administration. Anna is an alumnus of the US Government's premier exchange programme on the International Visitor Leadership Programme.
