Recent major transactions include advice to the Government of Ghana on a $1.4 billion proposed railway concession; financial restructuring of the power utilities in Ghana, Design of PPP Resource Centre For Ghana, development of options for the development of an Integrated Aluminum Industry in Ghana;lead advice on Ghana’s $547 million facility from the Millennium Challenge Corporation of the USA; representation of Horizon Marine Construction in the $400 million West Africa Gas Pipeline project; representation of Great Lakes Dredge & Dock in the $100million sea defence project in West Africa; development of land use planning legislation; transaction advice on the setting up of a new mortgage bank involving a $30 million OPIC facility; representation of Sol Group of Singapore in Ghana and Ivory Coast; contracts review advice to the Government of Liberia; procurement law advice separately to the Governments of Nigeria and Liberia; multiple construction contracts dispute resolution for various clients, advice to various clients on the extra territorial effect of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of the USA; representation in two (2) US companies in business process out-sourcing; representation of a consortium of three (3) firms in a major share acquisition in the Fidelity Bank (Ghana) and advice on a proposed $200 million housing project in Angola.
